Acetate is the industry standard for plastic eyeglasses. It is known for its vast varieties of color, patterns, and it's high durability. Made from cotton or wood fibers, acetate is hypoallergenic and incredibly comfortable to wear.   

To ensure your EGO is made of only the best materials, we source all of our acetate from Mazzucchelli. Mazzucchelli is a six-generation company, which has been in operation since 1849 and is the world leader in acetate. Their selection of options is second to none (over 1,400 unique finishes) and they are the preferred supplier for many of the world's top eyeglasses collections.   

Acetate plastic eyeglasses can be made with or without adjustable nose pads and combined with Titanium (bridge and temples) to make your EGO exactly the way you want it to 

Carbon Fiber eyeglasses are fairly uncommon in the optical industry. It's unique visual appearance, extreme lightweight and durability all make carbon fiber an excellent choice for eyeglasses.   

Carbon Fiber is all about performance. Used in many applications where a lightweight, incredibly durable material is needed. Carbon Fiber is often used in airplanes, hypercars, satellites, and rockets.  The number at the end of each color indicates the tightness of the carbon weave, with a small number indicating a tighter weave.

Horn eyeglasses have been around almost as long as eyeglasses have. Our horn is sourced from the Asian water buffalo, is generated as a byproduct of other industries, and is sustainably harvested. Horn is hypoallergenic, incredibly lightweight, and exceptionally comfortable to wear.

The unparalleled grain, depth of color, and hues make horn a true luxury material. Each horn eyeglass frame is truly unique, as no two pieces of horn are identical.

Shell is a new way to add a natural pattern and iridescence to eyeglasses. Whether it's to create a little bit of flair or draw the attention of everyone you meet, Shell eyeglasses never go unnoticed. Our shell is generated as a byproduct of other industries.

Shell eyeglasses are made of a laminate between the shell and wood. Part of the process of ordering shell eyeglasses is choosing the wood you would like used. Each shell eyeglass frame is unique, as no two pieces of shell are identical.

Shell eyeglasses can be made with or without adjustable nose pads, are available in six colors, and can be combined with Cork, or Wood (Temples or Frame Front Split) to make your EGO exactly the way you want it to be.  

Wood eyeglasses have been making a comeback, as an alternative to plastics. Our wood is generated as a byproduct of other industries and is sustainably harvested. Wood is incredibly lightweight, exceptionally comfortable to wear, and has a natural warmth.

The natural grain, depth of color, and hues speak for themselves. Each wood eyeglass frame is unique, as no two pieces of wood are identical.    

Wood eyeglasses can be made with or without adjustable nose pads, are available in eleven colors, and can be combined with Shell, or other Wood options (Temples or Frame Front Split) to make your EGO exactly the way you want it to be.  

Titanium eyeglasses are incredibly durable and lightweight. Titanium is hypoallergenic and comes in a variety of colors and can be made in a metallic or matte finish.  

Titanium eyeglasses will always come with adjustable nose pads, are available in sixteen different color options, and can be combined with Acetate Plastic (temples) to make your EGO exactly the way you want it to be.

Vinyl eyeglasses are a new way to create a unique finish for eyeglasses.  The vinyl is sourced from used records, and still has the texture of the record along its surface. Vinyl comes in a variety of very exciting colors and makes any EGO special.

Vinyl eyeglasses are made with adjustable nose pads and are available in eight colors. If however, you wanted another color that is not listed, please let us know and we can see if it can be possible.
