We want your EGO Custom Eyewear purchase to be as straight forward as possible. We use simple, transparent pricing to make this possible. Rather than following normal sales tactics of multiple tiers of performance and confusing you with options. We have a single price, based on your vision need. All options and variations are included. This does not mean we use inferior lenses. In fact, we only use the absolute best lenses from Zeiss. Whatever your vision needs are you will only get the ultimate version from this world leader in optical lens technology.

Office Progressive

Need your EGO to help you see around the house or the office? Progressive lenses designed to be used indoors. Perfect for those who find their normal progressive lenses too restrictive for daily use at the office or around the home. Different designs are available depending on your intended use and environment. These are the perfect companion pair for those who need multifocal lenses.

Progressive

Need your EGO to help you see far away, up close, and everything in between? Multifocal lenses are designed to provide every prescription you could need. With Progressive lenses being the industry "go-to" solution for anyone needing multifocal lenses. Depending on how you need your lenses to work for you and how you use them, we will adapt your Progressive lenses to give you the best performance possible.

Single Vision

Need your EGO to help you see either far away or up close? Simple lenses are designed for everyday life. Single Vision lenses focus on giving you the best vision performance for a single prescription. We also have options that are tailored for driving or with a small amount of "boost" for students and young professionals.
*Single Vision lenses with boost are often called "Anti-Fatigue" or "Adaptive" lenses.

Sunglass - Non-Prescription

Want your EGO to look cool and you do not need a prescription? Get high-quality lenses made for those who see well without prescription lenses. Available in a large range of options, including Mirrors, Polarized, Self-Tinting, and Tinted. The choice is yours.

The EGO lens prices listed above include any options that you want. This allows us to build your dream eyewear, without the confusion of pricing variations. One straight forward price to get your ultimate visual performance. We will discuss what you would like to have when we are finalizing your order but here are some descriptions of what can be done to maximize your EGO lenses.

Materials

Every EGO prescription lens is made in a Thin and Light material as standard. However, some prescriptions need a little help to make them even thinner and lighter. EGO prescription lenses are available in the full range of plastic lens materials, to ensure you get the best results. We even tailor your EGO's design specifically with your prescription in mind.

Self-Tinting

Want your EGO prescription lenses to adapt to light? Step outside and they get dark. Come back inside and they lighten. Self-Tinting lenses are a great option for those who forget to bring their sunglasses.
Standard Self-Tinting
Extra-Active Self-Tinting - Become darker quicker but have a more permanent color.
*Self-Tinting lenses are activated by UV light and can change/not change in situations that you may want them to. Self-Tinting lenses should not be considered a replacement for sunglasses, as they do not provide full sun coverage unless you ask us to design your EGO to perform more like a sunglass.

Polarized - Sunglasses

Do you hate glare? That harsh white reflection off of shiny, horizontal surfaces? Want your EGO sunglasses to allow you to see past the glare? Polarization is a filter in the lens that eliminates glare and allows you to see what lies underneath. Especially when you are driving, near water, around snow, and on the beach. Polarization is a true enhancement to vision, as it allows you to see things that you otherwise would miss.

*Polarized lenses are not suitable for pilots.

Tint - Colored Lenses

Want the color of your EGO lenses to reflect your personality also? This very popular trend was made cool by Hollywood actors like Diane Keaton, Johnny Depp, and Robert Downey Jr. Add some color to your lenses, whether to reduce the brightness of the light or just to make your eyewear even more unique to you. The limit to the range of colors is nearly limitless, through the shade, tone, and the use of Gradients. These can also be used to make sunglasses if you prefer, or need Non-Polarized sunglasses.

Solid Single Color

Gradient Color - A fading color or blending of multiple colors, often seen in fashion eyewear.

Mirrors

Love to shine like a diamond? Mirror coatings allow your lenses to reflect a specific color. Mirror coatings come in either a solid, fully reflective, or flash semi-reflective, finishes. Ranging in colors like Blues, Greens, Golds, Reds, and Silvers, Mirror coatings can be a unique way to make your EGO lenses extra special.
*Mirror coatings are only available on Polarized, Self-Tinting, or Tinted lenses.

Coatings

All EGO prescription lenses come with the absolute best Anti-Scratch and Anti-Reflection coatings, and all include 100% UV protection. We can even include a blue light filter at no additional cost if you want us to.
